Photorealistic renders

Here are some examples of renders that can replace photography when practical photography would be too difficult, time consuming, or otherwise impossible.

In the following examples the beverages are photos and the ingredients are 3D.

These examples are product photos for the Dutch Bros website.

I took measurements and reference photos for scale and color. I then recreated the objects in 3D.

This made it easy to keep a consistent look for the website over the years.

3D Animation

These animations originated as still images to promote a given drink recipe. I was then asked to introduce motion to add interest and make them more fun.

The drink imagery is real photography while everything else is CGI, modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D. I used multiple techniques including hard surface modeling, particle simulation, 3D sculpting tools, and various other render effects.
